The Royal Company of Merchants supports 250 elderly men and women in and around Edinburgh with regular payments of grants. This financial support is backed up by our Almoner who visits the beneficiaries, assessing their wellbeing and looking for help from other organisations which they might access. This personal, social support is a very important part of our overall service to the elderly in our community.
